Amanda is the Founder and Chief Stone Mixer at Pebble Home&Garden she is a devoted gardener and artisan with a lifelong passion for horticulture.
Armed with 30 years of creative commercial experience and unable to find affordable ‘heritage’ limestone planters, Amanda decided to create her own! With sustainability, recycling and the environment forefront, over many hundreds of test pieces she created a unique recipe using traditional methods. The result is beautiful organically inspired stone pots, vessels and troughs. Each hand cast stunning piece reflects her eco-friendly commitment and her artistic flair!
Amanda relishes sharing her knowledge of innovative pot-making techniques. Her personal passion and enthusiasm is infectious, particularly toward the often overlooked importance of mindfulness found in artisan crafting and immense mental nourishment of carving stone. She hosts popular local and national hands-on workshops at both private and public events.
When time allows you will find her pottering in her tranquil garden immersed in the simple pleasures of tending to her plants, or weather permitting sitting on a remote bank at Rutland Water whilst her partner fishes and the sun goes down … no better place to be!🌷
